2024/2025 Registration Reminders

As we kick off the 2024/25 USA Youth & High School Rugby season with registration now open through Rugby Xplorer, we want to ensure that all clubs are fully prepared and compliant with the necessary requirements for participation

Please carefully review the following points to ensure a smooth start to the season.

Club Compliance for Rugby Xplorer Participation

For clubs intending to be active and participate this season, please ensure the following compliance tasks are completed and updated in Rugby Xplorer:

Accredited and Registered Coach: For more information click HERE

• ‍Each rugby coach (in any capacity where the individual is providing technical or tactical instruction to players, including “Assistant Coaches”) must meet the following requirements:
  
  • Be a registered member in the coaching role at the correct club under the current season
  • Safesport Compliant and current
  • Have completed and passed a Background Check every other year
  • Complete Rugby Safety Basics
  • Have the appropriate World Rugby Certifications (WR L1, L2 or L3)
  • Club Administrators and rostered coaches may be subject to discipline from USA YHS if they permit Rugby Activity without a Rostered Coach present
    
• Minimum Registered Members:
  Each club must have a minimum of 8 playing members registered in Rugby Xplorer.
  
• Annual Club Fee:
  Ensure that the annual club fee is fully paid.
  This can be found on your club page by using the following navigation path: Administration > My Club > Compliance: Pay Fee

Club Address and Club Contact Updates in Rugby Xplorer

Please verify that your club’s address and admin contact details are current in Rugby Xplorer. Accurate addresses are essential for potential

new members to locate clubs in their area easily.

Player Participation

To participate in any Rugby Activity, a player must be registered with USA Rugby/USA YHS and their name must appear on the RX platform under their relevant club.

‍

Please note: A player must register for their relevant team for that season. i.e If they are playing in one season for a High School, and another season for a Club, the player must be registered with each team.Please click HERE for more information.

‍Age Verification

All playing members need to complete their Age Verification upon receiving their individual verification link from YHS. This ensures the safety of our athletes in ensuring they are of correct age in the competitions they compete in.

When requested, please provide a government issued ID document to validate name, DOB: Drivers License, Birth Certificate, Passport, School Transcript (with DOB and name listed).
