Girls Rugby National Championships: 2026 Recap


The 2026 Girls National Championships showcased standout performances across multiple divisions, with teams from across the country competing for national titles in Salt Lake City.
Club Division
In the Club Tier I final, Belmont Shore claimed the championship title, defeating Majestics 36-12 in a dominant performance that cemented their place atop the club division. Not far behind in the excitement, Wolverines Rugby captured the Club Tier II crown, edging out Harlequins 34-17 in a hard-fought final that had fans on their feet. Congratulations to both Club Division champions, two for two in representing the best of girls club rugby in the country.
Single School Division
The Single School division delivered equally compelling rugby. Wasatch claimed the Single School Tier II title, topping Herriman 25-0 in a commanding championship performance. In the Tier I bracket, Eagle High School was crowned the 2026 Single School champion beating Meridian 41-10, with both schools earning their place in the history books as the 2026 Girls National Champions.
Middle School
The championship weekend extended to the younger ranks as well, with Belmont Shore going two for two, adding the Middle School crown to their Club Tier I title in an impressive double-championship performance.
A Weekend to Remember
From the opening whistle to the final celebrations, the 2026 Girls National Championships were a testament to the growth and talent of girls rugby across the United States. Every team left it all on the field, and the future of the women's game is looking incredibly bright.
