The 2026 spring rugby season came to a thrilling close as Wisconsin and Indiana held their state championship events, delivering dramatic finishes and standout performances across multiple divisions.
Wisconsin
In Wisconsin, the Eastside Exiles rallied from a 12-5 deficit to defeat Elkhorn 19-12 in the Division 1 Boys High School State Championship, claiming the program's first-ever state title. Sophomore flyhalf Jax Zukowski was the hero of the comeback, scoring two second-half tries including a late defensive rip-and-run that sealed the win. In Indiana, six championship matches were contested over a memorable Memorial Day, with titles decided across youth and high school divisions:
